Assisted Living at St. Francis Commons
Assisted Living is a new senior living option coming to our community in the Fall of 2012. The St. Luke organization is currently in the process adding to our Family of Caring by developing the St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence on our healthcare campus in the City of Oswego. The new residence will accommodate 60 residents in both private and semi-private apartments. St. Francis Commons will provide supportive housing and home care services to individuals who are medically eligible for placement in a nursing facility but whose needs can be met in a less restrictive and lower cost residential setting.
The St. Francis Commons assisted living program will combine residential and home care services. Well appointed private or semi-private apartments will provide housekeeping, supervision, case management, personal care and home health services to our residents. Activities and outings will help keep residents engaged and a part of our community.
Our new residence will also provide a safe setting for persons with early to middle stages of a dementia-related illness such as Alzheimer’s disease. Special care services will be available in a specially designed wing of our St. Francis Commons residence.
Our newest senior living option will emphasize personal dignity, autonomy, independence and personal choice, all in an environment that will reflect the level of quality our community has come to expect from the St. Luke Family of Caring.
